We have just finished a huge remodeling project on our entire home, inside and out. Over the course of that time (more than two years), we have hired and worked with many, many contractors and the full spectrum of professional tradespeople. We have, therefore, become very good at discerning which ones are good at what they do, which ones are just so-so, and which ones are terrible.

The last part of our project was the outside of our house. This included a new paved driveway, paved pathways, rebuilding an outside basement staircase, stuccoing the entire lower part of the house, installing a brick stoop and grading the property to allow proper drainage in all areas related to these jobs. For all of this, we hired Libardi Island Landscaping Corp., who came highly recommended from a relative, who also hired them on the strong recommendation of a colleague. Do not let the “ Landscaping” part of their name fool you into thinking that is all they do… they are amazing craftsmen. Piero Libardi, along with his brother Tony, are highly experienced masonry contractors.

Our job took three weeks to complete and here is what we can state about this company:

1. They arrived on time every day, ready to go, and worked extremely hard from the beginning of each day to the end.

2. They did not, at any time, leave our job to go work on someone else’s.

3. Every step of the job was explained to us and discuss in detail before it was done. All the work was performed and completed as promised, and done perfectly.

4. If any potential problems arose, they waited to discuss them with us to help us find the best possible solution. They never cut corners, hoping that no one would notice, like so many contractors do.

5. Each day ended with a total clean up of our property.

6. Their work is impeccable.

Libardi Island Landscaping Corp is a family-run business. It is immediately obvious, when watching them work for any amount of time, that they are very talented and take great pride in their work and their reputation. From the smallest part of the job to the largest, they are true professionals and genuinely care about their customer. They are perfectionists…. And made this perfectionist couple very happy.

We highly, highly recommend Libardi Island Corp. After seeing the quality of work that can still be done in this “hurry up, get it done” world, it would be very, very hard for us to hire anyone else.

The yard looks great!

My husband and I contracted Libardi Island Landscaping to completely redesign and construct our backyard. Piero Libardi came out on a few occasions to give estimates and suggestions. One idea he had was to add another gate next to our driveway. We are so glad he did, what a time and step saver!

Our job was not an easy one, we ran into structurally work that necessitated stopping the brick work to have a carpenter in to fix the side of our house. Peter and his brother were very understanding, they went on to another job and came back
when their work could continue. The brick work they completed is wonderful.

Peter suggested a design that I am especially happy with. Both my husband and I are very pleased and satisfied with all the work they did. The quality is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely call again when we need masonry or landscaping work.

Right from the start we knew things were different. They had done such a classy job on the house across the street. Pete came up with some ideas that I would have never conceived on my own. Not only would the stoop be larger but there would be a "floating platform" at the base of the stoop and then the walkway would be another level.

These guys are awesome! Not only is their work amazing and their prices highly competitive, they continue to come up with new ideas.
